About Me
My name is Michael McFerren. I have been teaching in Louisville since the 2005-2006 school year. During my time in Louisville, I have taught 3rd and 4th grade math at both the old Louisville Elementary and Fairhope Elementary. I will be teaching with Mr. Everhart and Mrs. Geosits this year. I will be teaching all of the Math for our community.
My wife, Andrea, and I live in Canton (near Milk & Honey) and have 2 dogs (Jake and Maggie), a Siamese cat (Charlie), a stray cat (Ziggy), a Sun Conure (Mango), 2 saltwater fish tanks, and a freshwater fish tank...needless to say, we are animal lovers. I am also the head golf coach for Louisville High School and have been an assistant coach with the High School baseball team for the past 4 years.
I look forward to meeting all of the new faces that I will see this year. It is going to be a challenging year, but, rest assured, there will be a LOT of fun throughout as well!
